Kapital FM 92.9 The Station that Rocks!
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Benjamin Kalu, has urged citizens to rekindle hope and renew their commitment to nation-building as the country marks its 65th Independence anniversary.
In a statement in Abuja, Mr Kalu congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians, saying the milestone was a reminder of sacrifices by the country’s founding fathers.
He acknowledges Nigeria’s challenges and expresses optimism about the nation’s future, highlighting Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a guide for progress.
“The agenda embodies our collective aspirations for a Nigeria where citizens thrive and opportunities abound,” Kalu said. “It is a call to action for us to work together, harnessing our diversity, resilience and determination.”
Kalu pledged that the Parliament would continue to prioritize people-centered legislation and reaffirmed his commitment to national development.
He wished Nigerians a happy Independence Day and prayed for a prosperous future.
