The European Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, EACCI, has presented Certificates Of Appointment to two of its Local Implementation Partners in Nigeria.
They are Dr. Austin Ilenre Emuan, the Managing Director/CEO of Gothic – Len Consortium Limited and Olokhifa Maureen Aghomon who is the Managing Director/CEO of Moricol Healthcare Services Limited.
Presenting the Certificates in Abuja, the Director General of EACCI, Dr. Kingsley Obasohan said part of the objectives of the Chamber is to promote trade, and while promoting trade, EACCI is also implementing projects, hence the need for the appointment of the Local Implementation Partners in Nigeria.
Dr. Kingsley Obasohan stated that the mandate of the Local Implementation Partners is to work with the Treaty Implementation Board of the European Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industries to carry out projects within specific countries which include Nigeria.
According to him, EACCI is about implementing projects in the housing and health sectors as well as the Agriculture sector in Nigeria.
“The Local Implementation Partners are expected to join EACCI in carrying out these projects that is required by the Nigerian Government because Nigeria is one of the biggest economies in Africa and that is why we also have projects in the Oil and Gas sector, Energy, Construction, n agriculture and Food Security, among other projects that would ensure economic advancement of the country”.
In his words, “EACCI is developing a six thousand housing unit in the Federal Capital Territory which would be situated in Deidei area of the Territory while we’re also executing projects in the Oil and Gas as well as Agriculture among others “.
Dr. Kingsley Obasohan who pointed out that all these projects would be funded by EACCI said the Chamber has so far invested about three billion dollars in every sector of Nigeria’s economy in 2025.
The Director General, while stating that the Local Implementation Partners were carefully and professionally selected, announced that they are expected to deliver on their projects within 26 months.
He therefore advised them not to betray the confidence reposed in them by the EACCI by delivering their projects according to specifications.
In her remarks, the Managing Director/CEO Moricol Healthcare Services Limited, Olokhifa Maureen Aghomon who described health as wealth said the Company has come to deliver projects that would improve Nigeria’s health sector towards making it affordable and accessible to every Nigerian.
While commending EACCI for finding her company worthy of the partnership, Olokhifa Maureen Aghomon promised to deliver quality healthcare projects in line with international best standard.
On his part, the Managing Director/CEO of Gothic+Len Consortium Limited, Dr. Austin Ilenre Emuan also promised to ensure quality delivery of his project in the housing sector.
Dr. Emuan, who expressed concern over the challenges confronting some Nigerians in the area of housing, added that his company’s partnership with EACCI would go a long way in reducing the housing deficit in Nigeria
