Kapital FM 92.9 The Station that Rocks!
The African Democratic Congress Supporters Organization Nationwide (ADC-SON) officially inaugurated their national executives based in Nigeria’s capital city Abuja, on Friday September 12, 2025.
The event saw the executives and members of the Board Of Trustees (BOT) of organization who resides in Abuja handed their official working documents to the ADC-SON came with the theme “Unveiling The Roadmap to Victory: A New Dawn for the FCT”.
The support group will help ADC with its mission to rescue Nigeria’s leadership from its current state. The organization’s structure allows it to mobilize grassroots support for ADC candidates in elections. Currently, it operates in 35 states across Nigeria.
Speaking on the inauguration, Dr. Dennis Eze, the deputy national organizing secretary of ADC-SON said the support group has a solid structure unlike any other support group that has come in Nigeria.
“Like the name implies it is an adopted SON of the African DEMOCRATIC Congress. Since desperate time needs a desperate measure, ADC-SON is poised and is a highly structured support group never witnessed in the history of political support groups in Nigeria.
I want to use this medium to appeal for support and encouragement from ADC at all levels.”
Meanwhile in attendance as the guest of honour, Dr. Paul Mose the ADC AMAC chairman aspirant, loaded the initiative and advice that ADC-SON should understand that they are grassroot initiate and should act as such.
“As you receive your letters today that means your work has started fully and it is not for the elites it is for the grassroots.
Because the people who are complaining and receiving it the hardest from the woes of the government is the grassroots and if you cannot change the ideology of the grassroots to put themselves first at avoid collecting bribes for their votes to rig the election, then the initiative has failed.”
The AMAC aspirants also charged the executive members and the FCT chapter of the ADC-SON that for them to have a greater Nigeria it has to start with Abuja.
“The seat of power is in Abuja, and if we get it wrong in Abuja we have gotten it’s wrong in Nigeria because charity begins at home and the power of the country comes from the capital.
You have to work hard to make sure that you adhere by the electoral conduct, and make sure that the change which we’re looking for thoughts from the right source which is the capital.”
Meanwhile speaking on the action plan for ADC-SON Ambassador Hyginus Oguh John, the national secretary of the organization said that they are willing to be the servants and foot soldiers for ADC.
“Today, we do not just unveil these documents for ourselves. We humbly present them to the soul of our party the national leadership, FCT ADC state chapter, ADC Area party council chairmen, ADC ward executives, and to all FCT ADC party candidates who will fly out parties flag.
The journey to reclaiming the mandate of the people and delivering good governance begins with a plan. Today we present that plan.”
Four BOT members and twenty executives received their letters. Because FCT was the host state, five of their executive members also collected theirs.
The unveiling an inauguration ceremonies happened across all the regions that ADC-SON has it’s structure.
Also in attendance for the unveiling and inauguration were, FCT State ADC Chairman, Chief Oba Clement Ehigiator, Kuje Area Council ADC Candidate Dr. Steven Knabaiyi, Hon. Judy Shuaibu Nwose the aspirant for the Abuja north National Assembly seat, Engr. Muhammad Lawal S/A On Chieftancy Affairs to the senator, and Mr. Clement Dara from Bwari Area Council.
