The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the appointment of Chief Superintendent of Police CSP Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer FPRO.
This is contained in a statement signed by the outgoing Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, in Abuja.
According to the statement, CSP Hundeyin, a seasoned communicator, brings with him a rich blend of academic qualifications and professional experience.
It explains that the new Force spokesperson has held several strategic roles, including Police Public Relations Officer at Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos; Administration Officer at the Force Public Relations Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja; and, until his latest appointment, he was the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command.
The statement notes that the Inspector General of Police urged Hundeyin to deploy his wealth of experience in communication and security management to strengthen the public relations strategies of the Force and foster sustained positive engagement with Nigerians.
