The Award was presented to her by an Interdenominational Centre for Theological Training, Missionsville International Theological Seminary, Abuja, Nigeria to mark its 9th Graduation and Ordination Ceremony in Abuja.

Presenting the Award to Mrs Naomi Olapetan Adelabu on behalf of the Centre, Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph Ayikoye said the honour was in recognition of her contributions to the service of God and humanity.

According to Rt. Rev. Prof Joseph Ayikoye, the Centre has over the years been monitoring the humanitarian services of Mrs Naomi Adelabu, hence the need for the Doctor of Ministry Award confered on her.

He expressed the hope that the Award would further encourage her towards improving the lives of the less privileged within and outside her environment as well as in the body of Christ towards expanding God’s kingdom.

Rt. Rev. Prof Joseph Ayikoye therefore admonished other Christians and well meaning Nigerians to emulate Mrs Adelabu towards reducing the challenges of the needy in the country and encourage other unbelievers to develop keen interest in giving their lives to Jesus Christ.

Speaking after receiving the Award, Mrs Naomi Adelabu thanked the Centre for the recognition and promised to continue to contribute her quota to the well-being of the less privileged and the propagation of the gospel.

She stressed the need for wealthy christians to always channel their resources to the betterment of the society through uplifting the lives of the less privileged in the society.

While dedicating the Award to God and her family, Mrs Adelabu said it would further encourage her in her humanitarian and social services activities in the vineyard of God and for others in the society.
