ZLP Expresses Optimism Of Victory In FCT Area Councils Election

Zenith Labour Party, ZLP has expressed optimism of winning the February 2026 Area Councils election in the Federal Capital Territory.

The Organising Secretary of the party, Prince Nice Chuks, stated this at the Abuja Pioneers forum to unveil the party’s chairmanship candidate, Swani Buba for the forth coming area council election in Abuja.

Prince Chuks who described the chairmanship candidate as a pillar of strength to many Nigerians noted that he has all it takes to revive the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC.

On his part, the convener of the forum, Emmanuel Edili who emphasized that tansformation must start from the grassroots if the council aspires for change stressed that the chairmanship candidate is the only one with the potential to reposition the council.

He stressed that Nigeria needs to start investing in youths which he said will promote national development.

Earlier, the chairmanship candidate, Swani Buba stressed that his manifesto is not a collection of empty promises but a practical blueprint for the transformation and development of AMAC under leadership of the Zenith Labour Party.

“Nigerians have learnt their lesson so we will no longer allow their conscience to be bought with money” he stated. I humbly present myself to serve the people of Abuja municipal Area Council,(AMAC) under the banner of the Zenith Labour Party” he stressed.

Buba also said that ZLP is out to create an inclusive government with adequate representation of all gender and groups.

“My vision is to create a council where government truly reflects the needs of the people, where prosperity is shared and dignity is restored to every citizen. I am out to address the challenges facing AMAC from inadequate housing to poor access to healthcare, underfunded schools to limited opportunities for the youths.”

Buba further pledged to collaborate with the people to transform the council to a better place.

“I am certainly going to win the ruling party and others at the forthcoming Area Council election because i have the backing of the people.
