Comrade Asefon Congratulates Oba Adesanmi For Success Of Udiroko Festival

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement, Comrade Asefon Sunday has congratulated the Ewi of Ado, Oba, Dr. Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, for the successful celebration of the 2025 Udiroko Festival.

This is contained in a statement signed by him in Abuja.

According to him, the festival signifies the beginning of a new calendar year in Ado Ekiti stressing that It was a true reflection of unity, peace, and rich cultural heritage.

“It was a total shutdown in Ado Ekiti, the capital city of Ekiti State, as sons and daughters of Ado, both at home and in the diaspora, gathered to celebrate the Udiroko Festival (Odun Olorunborun)”

“The festival was a grand occasion that brought together well-wishers and political dignitaries from across Nigeria, who joined in celebrating with the Ewi of Ado”.

“I heartily congratulate our father, the Ewi of Ado, Oba (Dr.) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the Ewi-in-Council, APU, and all sons and daughters of Ado Ekiti on the successful celebration of the 2025 Udiroko Festival” Comrade Sunday adds.”
