Cleric Tasks Christian Girls On Obedience To God’s Commandments

Background

The 2025 Prayer Retreat/Annual Conference Camp, Centenary Celebration and Recognition/Coronation Service of FCT Baptist Girls Auxiliary, G A.has ended in Karu, Nasarawa State.

The 3 days event which took place at Nasara Baptist Church, Karu in Nasarawa State had participants from all Baptist Associations under the FCT Baptist Conference.

The conference with the theme “Help Through Waiting And Watching” featured prayer sessions, coronation, praise worship and parade among others.

Speaking during the closing ceremony, the Camp Pastor, Reverend Joel Adegbola admonished the G A members to take their quiet time very seriously describing it as key to success and breakthrough in their endeavours in life.

Reverend Adegbola, who identified sin as the major barrier to unanswered prayers, enjoined them to shun sinful behaviours and be obedient to God’s commandments.

While urging them to always be coordinated, the Camp Pastor stressed the need for the G A members to acquire formal education and be committed to the service of God and humanity.

Reverend Adegbola congratulated the G A members and the leadership of the FCT Baptist Conference for a successful outing and wished the Girls all the best in their endeavous.

Earlier, during the opening prayer session, the President, Women Missionary Union, MMU, of the Host Association, Mrs Dorcas Gideon prayed for the GA members to become successful children that would contribute their quota to the expansion of God’s kingdom aa well as national and global development.

Mrs Gideon said WMU would continue to embark on programmes that would make the G As better christians worthy of emulation.

Some of the G A members from the Amazing Grace Baptist Association who spoke on the conference expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity given to them to be part of the conference.

They prayed God to grant them the grace to always be good vessels in the hands of God.
