Appointment Of APC Chairman, Democracy In Action – Lalong

The immediate past of Governor of Plateau state, Chief Simeon Lalong has described the appointment of the All Progressive Congress new Chairman, Professor Netanwe Yilwatda as democracy in action in the history of the party.

Chief Lalong stated this during a solidarity visit to the new APC chairman accompanied by the former Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Tallen, the State Party Chairman Comrade Rufus Bature and other Stakeholders at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.

The immediate past Plateau state Governor explained that the appointment of the APC new National Chairman by President Bola Tinubu has proved that the President has interest of the young, old and women at heart noting that Professor Netanwe has what it takes to reposition the party and deepen democracatic principles.

He further said the chance given to Professor Netanwe to lead the party would open more doors for the APC as 2027 is fast approaching.

“There is no doubt that Plateau state is APC and APC is Plateau state stressing that the present administration is doing well, which the state cannot afford to miss.

He called on all plateau people to pray and support Professor Netanwe as the position he is occupying is a well-deserved one and a big honour to the state at large.
