Kapital FM 92.9 The Station that Rocks!
The Federation Account Allocation Committee, FAAC, has shared a total of N1.818 trillion as June 2025 revenue to the Federal, States and Local Government Councils.
The distribution was finalized at the July 2025 FAAC meeting held in Abuja.
According to the FAAC communique, the N1.818 trillion distributable revenue comprises statutory revenue of N1.018 trillion, VAT revenue of N631.507 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy, EMTL, of N29.165 billion, Exchange Difference revenue of N38.849 billion and a N100 billion augmentation from non-mineral revenue.
The communique shows that Gross revenue for June stood at N4.232 trillion, with N162.786 billion deducted as cost of collection and N2.251 trillion allocated to transfers, interventions, refunds and savings.
A breakdown of the allocation indicates that the Federal Government received N645.383 billion, while State Governments got N607.417 billion, and Local Government Councils received N444.853 billion. In addition, N120.759 billion was disbursed to oil-producing states as 13% derivation from mineral revenue.
From the N1.018 trillion statutory revenue, the Federal Government received N474.455 billion, States N240.650 billion and LGs N185.531 billion.
Similarly, the VAT revenue of N631.507 billion was shared with the Federal Government receiving N94.726 billion, States N315.754 billion and LGs N221.027 billion.
FAAC noted a significant rise in Companies Income Tax, CIT, Petroleum Profit Tax, PPT and EMTL collections in June 2025, while Oil and Gas Royalty, VAT, Import Duty, Excise Duty and CET Levies declined considerably.
