Buhari’s Death A Significant Loss To Nig, Global Community – Kalu

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as a significant loss to both Nigeria and the global community.

In a statement in Abuja by his Chief Press Secretary Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu praises Buhari’s enduring legacy, highlighting his reputation for integrity, discipline, and commitment to national development.

“This loss is felt not only by the nation but by the entire international community.”

“President Buhari’s legacies, both as a former Head of State and as a democratically elected President, will inspire generations to come.”

Kalu points to Buhari’s anti-corruption stance, disdain for indiscipline, and agricultural reforms, particularly his rice revolution as hallmarks of his leadership.

“As we reflect on his life, we are reminded of the importance of leadership and service to the people,” he said.

The deputy speaker extends condolences to Buhari’s family, President Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, and Nigerians at large.

“May the Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and comfort the nation during this difficult time,” Kalu said.
