 NUJ : FRCN Abuja Operations Elect New Executive

A new set of executives has been elected to pilot the affairs of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Abuja Operations Chapel for the next three years.

Speaking during the handing over ceremony, Comrade Oduyemi Odumade, who emerged as the new Chairperson, pledged to lead with transparency, accountability, and a strong focus on the welfare of members.

She assured members of an inclusive and responsive leadership that would uphold the values of the union.

Earlier the outgoing Chairperson, Comrade Shakirat Alabi, in her remarks,  expressed confidence in the new executive council promising to continue offering her support and experience to the new team.

Other members of the newly elected executive council are

Salihu Tejumola Vice Chairman, Jillian Abalaka, Secretary and Seember Aboh as  Treasurer.

Others are Garry Ochigbo, Assistant Secretary, Amara Ekpunobi Auditor, and Tabawa Yunusa as the  Financial Secretary.
