National Chairman Of APC, Ganduje Resigns

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has resigned his position.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, in Abuja.

According to the statement, Ganduje’s resignation letter was addressed to the National Working Committee of APC through the National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru .

In the statement, Alhaji Ganduje expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the opportunity to serve the party.

Meanwhile, President Tinubu has directed the Deputy National Chairman North, Alhaji Ali Dalori to act as the National Chairman, pending the meeting of the National Executive Committee, NEC which will soon be summoned to fill the vacant position.

Alhaji Ganduje assumed the position of National Chairman of the APC in
August, 2023 following the resignation of his predecessor, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

The statement further explains that Alhaji Ganduje throughout his tenure strengthened the Party’s unity, thereby upholding democratic principles in governance.

On his part, Alhaji Ganduje called on party supporters to remain steadfast and unwavering in the mission to deliver transformative governance for all Nigerians, in line with President Tinubu’s renewed Hope Agenda.
