Sallah : Wike Felicitates With FCT Residents, Assures Security

As Muslims across the nation prepare to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has extended warm greetings to residents of the FCT and the entire Muslim community, urging them to embrace the spirit of unity, peace, and sacrifice that defines the season.

In his Sallah message, Wike assured residents of the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a secure and peaceful atmosphere throughout the festive period.

“We wish all residents a joyful and fulfilling Sallah. By the grace of God, it is our duty to ensure that there are no security breaches, and that everyone celebrates in peace and happiness, to the glory of God,” the Minister stated.

Wike emphasized the importance of using the Eid celebration as a unifying moment for the country. “This season provides a unique opportunity for us to come together, regardless of our differences, and work towards the common goal of national unity and progress. We must seize this moment to foster understanding and solidarity among all Nigerians,” he said.

The Minister also expressed gratitude for the continued support of FCT residents towards the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, encouraging citizens to remain loyal and supportive for the greater good of the country.

“As we celebrate, let us also reflect on our shared responsibility to build a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria. With unity and commitment, we can move the nation forward,” Wike added.
