Deputy Speaker Donates Rams, Food Items To Abia Muslim Community

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu has donated rams, rice, and other food items to the Muslim community in Abia State to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser Press Affairs
Udora Orizu, Kalu presented the donation to the Muslim community led by HRH Sarki Bello in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.

Kalu, who represents Bende Federal Constituency, encouraged the community to spread love and bring joy to the indigent during the occasion.

He reaffirmed his commitment to championing the welfare of his constituents by ensuring the dividends of democracy reached all his constituents.

While wishing the community, a joyous celebration, the deputy speaker appealed to the Muslim faithful and all Nigerians to continue to pray for and support the government.

Responding, the Muslim community leader, HRH Sarki Bello, expressed gratitude for Kalu’s generosity, saying it would help ensure a harmonious and joyful Sallah celebration.
