Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire And Immigration Services Board Refutes Purported Recruitment Excercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has refuted a purported social media report on documentation, medical assessment and data capturing of candidates for the 6th induction training course of the Federal Fire Service, scheduled to hold on Saturday 31st of May 2025.

A statement by the Head, Press and Public Relations of the Board, Juliet Okey says no such exercise in Federal Fire Service will hold as it did not emanate from the board.

According to the statement, the board wants to use this opportunity to inform the general public that the recruitment into the Federal Fire Service, which started from 27th of December 2023, has since been concluded, with no replacement of any such.

It states that the board warns members of the public to be wary of activities of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers who are out to defraud job seekers.

The statement says that any person who patronizes them does so at his or her own risk stressing that the board will not be held liable.
