The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority is set to host over 15 African sovereign wealth funds and global investment leaders at the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum 2025.
In a statement the NSIA’s Head of Corporate Communications, Joyce Onyegbula, says the event scheduled for June will hold in Abuja.
The statement notes that the two day meeting aims to position Africa’s sovereign wealth funds as critical vehicles for unlocking large-scale global capital to drive development across the continent.
It stresses that the forum with the theme “Leveraging African Sovereign Wealth Funds to Mobilise Global Capital for Transformative Development in Africa,” comes at a pivotal moment that demands bold, coordinated action to deepen collaboration and unlock global capital for sustainable, large-scale, inclusive development in Africa.
The statement further explains that by uniting collective resources, African sovereign wealth funds can become a formidable catalyst for transformative growth, economic resilience, and long-term prosperity.
Attendees at the forum will include sovereign wealth fund CEOs, global institutional investors, development finance institutions, and government ministers, who will explore investment opportunities across priority sectors such as infrastructure, energy, technology, and healthcare.
