APC Urged To Market Tinubu’s Achievements Ahead Of 2027

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has been urged to market the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to the electorate ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to a statement in Abuja, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, made the call in Abuja at the APC National Summit, with the theme “The Renewed Hope Agenda: The Journey So Far”.

He emphasizes the need for the party to demonstrate how its policies are improving people’s lives noting that Tinubu’s administration has made remarkable strides since taking office, including lifting the economy, rationalizing the foreign exchange market, generating jobs, and confronting insecurity.

The Speaker who says further that recently, high-profile figures have joined the APC along with numerous federal lawmakers from Kano, Osun, Kebbi, Delta, and Edo, raising the total number of defections in the House to 25 with reports of further crossovers from PDP and Labour Party governors on the horizon.

According to him, “these moves underscore the momentum of the APC and positions us as the party to beat in 2027”.

He states that President Tinubu has worked tirelessly to ensure that the National Assembly’s ability to respond to the needs of the constituents is significantly strengthened by providing increased budgetary allocations for constituency projects.
