Work Together To Secure Chairmanship Position- Yahaya To Central Zone Politicians

Politicians in Central Zone, Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT have been advised to work together towards securing the chairmanship slot in next year’s FCT Area Council election.

A former Secretary, Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Usman Yahaya gave the advice at a forum in Gwagwalada Abuja.

Alhaji Yahaya said the Central Zone which comprises of Kutunku, Quarters and Central Wards had been marginalized over the years hence the need for collective efforts in the 2026 poll.

In a remark, the Deputy Speaker, Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Yusuf Nas alleged that Zuba and Dobi Zones had been producing the Chairman of the Council over the years.

Earlier, the Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Gwagwalada Chapter, Alhaji Mohammed Baba called for the spirit of sportsmanship ahead of the Area Council election .
