NAHCON Commits To Fostering Partnerships For Successful 2025 Hajj
The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman has assured all stakeholders that the Commission under his leadership is committed to fostering strong partnerships and teamwork to ensure the success of the 2025 Hajj operations.
Professor Saleh Usman gave the assurance in Abuja in his opening remarks at the 2nd National Stakeholders Summit of Nigeria’s Hajj and Umrah industry jointly organised by NAHCON and the Hajj Institute of Nigeria (HIN).
He said, looking ahead, NAHCON, in its role as the regulator of Hajj affairs in Nigeria, is fully prepared for the 2025 Hajj operations.
He pledged to uphold transparency, foster partnerships, and lead NAHCON with the fear of Allah by ensuring the successful conduct of Hajj operations under his watch.
“Together, we will reinforce renewed hope for Nigerian pilgrims and uphold the integrity of Hajj operations.”
According to him, “The Federal Government of Nigeria has licensed four airlines for the airlift of over 40,000 pilgrims, excluding more than 14,000 travelling with tour operators.”
“The inaugural flight is scheduled for May 9th, 2025, and with the grace of Allah, we anticipate seamless operations.”
