Hajj : Nigeria’s Medical Team Sets To Depart For Saudi Arabia
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, says Nigeria’s medical team will depart for Saudi Arabia on April 30th, 2025, in preparation for the upcoming pilgrimage.
The Chairman of NAHCON, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, made this known while speaking with newsmen in Kaduna.
According to Professor Saleh, this is to ensure that all necessary medical arrangements are in place.
“The advance medical team is expected to be on ground at least nine days before the arrival of the first batch of Nigerian pilgrims to ensure that we are adequately prepared to attend to any health challenge that may arise during the pilgrimage.”
According to him, the medical team would stock Nigeria’s clinics in Makkah and Madinah with essential drugs and medical requirements.
He assured that NAHCON would prioritize the wellbeing and comfort of Nigerian pilgrims, advising those with health challenges to disclose them for proper documentation and medical attention.
