Kapital FM 92.9 The Station that Rocks!
The Nigeria-Bulgaria Parliamentary Group Committee in the House of Representatives is committed to strengthening the existing relationship between the two countries on parliamentary, diplomatic, and business fronts.
Chairman of the Committee, Munachim Alozie, stated this at a farewell meeting with the outgoing Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Yanko Yordanov.
Alozie praised Yordanov’s efforts in fostering bilateral relations, citing his visits to 22 out of 36 states in Nigeria.
The committee aims to build on past experiences and strengthen bilateral business ties in areas such as trade, education, agriculture, health, energy, and tourism with a planned trade mission to Bulgaria in July.
Speaking with journalists after the event, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria Yanko Yordanov appreciated the strong ties between the two countries, citing cooperation in agriculture, business, and IT.
He expressed enthusiasm for future cooperation, highlighting Bulgaria’s hospitality and potential for continued collaboration.
