Anti Party Activities: NRM Expels Udeh, Four Others.

New national working committee members have been elected to run the affairs of the National Rescue Movement, NRM.

The new officials were ratified at an emergency Convention observed by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Abuja after they had earlier been elected at a National Executive Committee meeting of the party.

Those that emerged from the process included, Prince Chinedu Obi as National Chairman, Hassan Ibrahim, National Secretary, Magdalena Gali, National Organizing Secretary, Mr. Seprebofa Oyeghe, Deputy National Legal Adviser and Dr. Mustapha Kumshe, Deputy National Chairman.

Others included Mr. Musa Kafisoli, National Auditor, Chief Victor Iwualla- National Welfare Secretary and Omotaiwo Letsuwa, National Publicity Secretary.

In his acceptance speech, the national chairman, Prince Chinedu Obi pledged commitment to building a party that will redress the regrets of Nigerians.

Prince Obi eulogised INEC and the inter party advisory council, IPAC for standing by the party when those he described as political jobbers tried to hijack the platform.

Some members including a former national chairman, Ambassador Isaac Udeh over alleged infractions.
