Reps Speaker Set to Receive Honorary Doctorate From NOUN

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Abbas Tajudeen, is set to receive an honorary Doctor of Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria.

In a statement in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Musa Abdullahi, the ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 12, at the university’s convocation arena in Abuja.

The honorary doctorate is in recognition of Speaker Abbas’ contributions to public service, national leadership and legislative excellence.

Speaker Abbas has previously received an honorary doctorate in public administration from Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, and has delivered convocation lectures at several institutions, including Al-Hikmah University and the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

The Speaker’s achievements have been acknowledged by various institutions, highlighting his commitment to public service and national development.
