Edo Killings: Minority Caucus Condemns Brutal Killings

The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has strongly condemned the brutal killings of 16 Nigerians, predominantly northerners, in Edo State.

In a statement in Abuja by the Minority leader Kingsley Chinda, the Caucus describes the killings as “barbaric” and urges the federal government to take immediate action to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice.

The Caucus has also appealed to Nigerians to remain calm and law-abiding, allowing the authorities to handle the situation.

They called for adequate compensation to be paid to the affected families and expressed sympathy and condolences to the victims’ families.
