Reps Reconsider Immunity For Top Officials

The House of Representatives has rescinded its decision to strip the vice president, governors, and deputy governors of immunity.

The decision was made after the House Leader, Julius Ihonvbere, moved a motion to reverse the earlier decision.

The original bill, sponsored by Solomon Bob, aimed at promoting accountability in public office by removing the immunity currently granted to the vice president, governors, and their deputies.

However, the House has now decided to allow for further debate and scrutiny of the proposed amendment.
