Reconsider Your Stance On State Of Emergency- Cleric Appeals To PBAT

President of the International Council of Archbishops and Bishops, Archbishop King Benny Danson,
has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to reconsider his decision on declaring a state of emergency in Rivers State.

In a statement, Archbishop Danson expresses concerns that this move could undermine democracy and spark chaos.

He urges President Tinubu to explore alternative solutions that would promote peace and stability in the region.

Archbishop Danson also called upon the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders to intervene in the matter peacefully.
