Ramadan: Cleric Wants Wealthy Muslims To Assist Less Privileged

Wealthy Muslims have been advised to assist the less privileged, especially in this month of Ramadan.

The Chief Imam of Sheikh Hamdan Jumma’a Mosque Gwagwalada, Doctor Uba Mohammed, gave the advice during the distribution of food items and cash to some orphans and widows.

Doctor Mohammed said the advice became necessary in view of the economic situation in the country.

In a remark, the donor of the food items and cash, Alhaji Samaila Abdulazeez, said the gesture was to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the area.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the food items and urged other well-meaning Nigerians to emulate Dr. Abdulazeez in making life easier for the less privileged.
