The Executive Secretary Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission, NCPC Bishop Stephen Adegbite has called on Nigerians to remain patriotic for a better country.
Addressing the 9th Batch of Christian pilgrims during an award ceremony in Bethlehem, Bishop Adegbite said the current administration’s policies and economic reforms have begun to yield positive results.
Represented by Bishop Samuel Northey, the NCPC Executive Secretary also stressed the need for Nigerians not to relent in praying for President Bola Tinubu’s administration which has started laying a solid foundation for the country’s prosperity.
He thanked President Bola Tinubu, Vice president Kashim Shetima and the First Lady of Nigerian for supporting NCPC in carrying out its statutory functions.
Bishop Stephen Adegbite noted that President Bola Tinubu has so far been fair in federal appointments contrary to the belief of some people that Christians would be neglected by the administration.
He urged pilgrims to be good ambassadors of Christ and use their experiences to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

A Federal lawmaker representing Benue State at the National Assembly, Mr Sekav Dzua – Iyortyonh called on Federal and State governments to increase the number of Christain pilgrims sponsorship to enable those yearning for spiritual rejuvenation to participate in the Holy Exercise.
According to Dzua-Iyortyon, increased funding to the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission will assist in increasing the number of Christians for the pilgrimage and also help to promote religious harmony in the country.
A senior official at the NCPC headquarters Abuja, Mrs Tosin Yohanna commended the conduct of pilgrims in the Holy Land and assured that the Commission under the leadership of Bishop Stephen Adegbite would continue to champion the course of Peace and religious harmony with other faiths.
A representative of the Ground carriers, Mr Israel Goldstein also commended the federal government for giving special attention to the spiritual development of citizens which would, in turn, promote peace and unity in Nigeria.
Mr Goldstein charged members of the 9th Batch to be good ambassadors of Christ.
