Anambra Guber : APC NWC Adopts Indirect Method For Primary Election

The National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress has adopted an indirect method for the forthcoming governorship primary election in Anambra State.

The National Secretary of the party, Senator Bashir Ajibola, stated this while briefing newsmen at the party’s secretariat in Abuja.

He explained that the decision was reached following stakeholders and supporters’ plea from the state for a free, fair, and credible election come April this year.

According to the APC National Secretary, the party is determined to provide a level playing ground for all the aspirants.

He noted that victory in the Anambra state governorship election is important to the party being the industrial hub of the south Eastern part of the country.

Senator Ajibola used the opportunity to appreciate President Bola Tinubu for attending the National Executive Committee meeting where critical issues affecting the party were attended to for progress and development of the party.

The APC National Secretary noted that the task President Tinubu gave the NWC members to engage all state leaders and stakeholders across the country must be done immediately to reconcile all aggrieved members.
