The National Executive Committee of the All Progressive Congress, APC has passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka stated this while briefing newsmen shortly after a meeting with the President at the party’s Secretariat in Abuja.
He explained that the decision followed the numerous achievements recorded so far by President Tinubu.
Mr. Morka said NEC members were happy with the current economic situation of the country, ranging from national security, education, agriculture, infrastructural development, and reduction of food stuff prices in the market.
The party’s spokeman, who appealed to the President not to derail from his campaign promises to Nigerians, noted that the meeting called for expansion of the party to accommodate more defecting members before the 2027 general election.
According to him, President Tinubu urged the National Working Committee to set up a reconciliation committee to settle all aggrieved members across the party.
The meeting was attended by President Tinubu, the Senate President and his Deputy, National Assembly members, State Party Chairmen, the pioneer National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akunde and other leaders of the party.
