A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former National Auditor of the party, Sir Paul Chukwuma, says the insecurity challenge in Anambra state has contributed to the underdevelopment of the State.
Sir Chukwuma made this known when he returned his expression of interest and normination forms to contest the governorship position come 8th November, this year.
According to the Anambra state governorship aspirant, the state has been the worst hit in terms of security in the southeast, which needed to be handled urgently to save lives and property of the people.
According to him, security agencies in the state are complaining of inadquate funding to fight insecurity to get the desired results.
He therefore advocated mechanised agriculture in the state to reduce the thick forest and bushes, which has become a hideout for criminals and kidnappers.
Sir Chukwuma also called on party members to support him to ensure that APC takes over the state to attract federal government infrastructural development.
