GWAC Asks Community Leaders To Support

Community leaders in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory have been advised to be committed to the development of the area.

The Deputy Speaker of the Council’s Legislative Arm, Alhaji Abubakar Nas gave the advice at a forum in Gwagwalada.

Alhaji Nas noted that the task of repositioning the area required the support of community leaders.

In a remark, a Community Leader, Mallam Safiyanu Usman stressed the need for political office holders to always place the interest of the area above personal interest.

Other speakers at the forum called on the Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Abu Giri to do the needful by fulfilling his electioneering campaign promises most especially to rural dwellers in the area.
