NIS : Akinlabi Appointed New Service Public Relations Officer

The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mrs Kemi Nandap has approved the appointment of Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, Akinsola Akinlabi as the new Public Relations Officer of the Service.

This follows the posting of the immediate past Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Udo to Akwa Ibom State Command as Passport Control Officer.

A statement by the Principal Staff Officer to the Comptroller General, Adedotun Aridegbe says until his appointment as the Service PRO, Akinlabi has served in various Directorates of the Nigeria Immigration Service such as Accounts and Finance, Protocol, Training and self development, Passport and other Travel Documents, amongst others.

According to the statement, the new Public Relations Officer just concluded his assignment as the Immigration Attache in the Embassy of Nigeria at the Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The statement says his appointment takes immediate effect.
