The All Progressive Congress says the nation’s crude oil production has increased, as the refineries are now working to revamp the economy.
The National Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje stated this while receiving the Delta North Senator, Chief Ned Nwoko at the party’s National Secretariat Abuja who defected from the People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress .
Alhaji Ganduje who also stressed that security has equally improved under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, called on Delta State people to support the President in ensuring that internal democracy thrives in the country.
The APC National Chairman, advised Senator Nwoko and his supporters to ensure they follow the party’s rules and regulations to make Delta State an APC State.
Earlier, the Minister of Aviation, Mr Festus Keyamo said Chief Nwoko is joining the party to contribute his wealth of experience to the present administration.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Nwoko who noted that Delta State is blessed with natural resources, but lack development due to bad leadership in the state explained that he joined the APC to end the suffering in the State.
He commended the National Working Committee of the party for maintaining peace and unity at all levels .
