Senate Suspends Plenary In Respect Of Late Oriyomi Onanuga

The Senate has suspended Tuesday plenary in honour of late member, Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, who represented the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State.

Mrs Onanuga, who was the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, died last month during a brief illness.

President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio told his colleagues that the suspension was in line with parliamentary tradition.
