Kapital FM 92.9 The Station that Rocks!
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council, has lauded the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, for his visible efforts in improving infrastructural development within the FCT.
The Union made this known in a communiqué in Abuja after its historic first Congress, Chaired by the first Female Chairman, Comrade Grace Ike in, Abuja.
The Union, with over 400 members in attendance, described Wike as a visionary leader whose hard work and foresight is evidently visible in the new look Abuja is now wearing.

The Congress used the occasion to discuss the state of the Union and the Nation, urging relevant government authorities to improve the standard of living of the citizens.
Other matters of urgent concern include the rising cost of living, poor power supply, and insecurity across the federation.
In her opening address, Comrade Ike emphasised the commitment of the executive to the prosperity and unity of the Council.
“It is a privilege to welcome you all to this momentous first Congress of the NUJ FCT Council under our leadership. Today represents more than a formal gathering; it is an opportunity to reaffirm our shared commitment to unity, progress, and the collective good of our profession,” she stated.
The Congress called on government at all levels to prioritise the provision of basic amenities to improve the quality of life for citizens.
