Dutsen Aba Residents Celebrate Reconstruction Of Collapsed Bridge By Speaker

Residents of Dutsen Aba, a community in Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State, are celebrating the long-awaited reconstruction of a bridge that collapsed in 2014.

The bridge’s collapse had severed the community’s connection to Zaria town, causing years of hardship.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas, recently visited the site, where jubilant residents sang and chanted praises in appreciation of the project.

The reconstruction marks a significant milestone in alleviating the community’s decade-long struggle.

Dr. Abbas assured that all ongoing projects in his Zaria Federal Constituency are on track for completion by December 2025, with 100% of funding already released.

He reiterated his commitment to improving infrastructure and quality of life in the constituency, highlighting the significance of these projects in driving social and economic development for the region.
