Niger State Governor Umaru Bago has signed a $1 million scholarship bond with the University of Toronto to boost the state’s education system.
This partnership will strengthen higher education and invest in future medical professionals.
A statement in Abuja from the office of the governor says the governor led a delegation to Toronto, establishing a groundbreaking agreement.
“The All Saints University of Toronto matched the $1 million bond, creating a $2 million fund for 100 students pursuing medical degrees and professional courses.
According to the statement, this initiative will enhance Niger State’s healthcare sector and empower its youths through quality education.
