NAWOJ FCT Felicitates With Muslims @Eid-El-Maulud

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) FCT Chapter wishes its esteemed members and Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-El-Maulud celebration, as they mark the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

A statement jointly signed by the Chapter’s Chairperson, Comrade Bassey Ita Ikpang and Secretary, Nkiruka Okeke urge Muslims to uphold the values of compassion, kindness, and forgiveness as we strive to make our communities better.

“May we be inspired by the Prophet’s teachings to promote peace, understanding, and unity in our society.”

“We also pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in our nation, and for the continued strength and resilience of our members as they carry out their duties as journalists and by extention watchdogs of the society.

“May this special day bring joy, love, and blessings to all our members and their families.”

“We also use this opportunity to appreciate the contributions of our members to the development of journalism in Nigeria. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to ethical journalism are highly valued and recognized.”
