Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, has urged muslims to offer prayers for the country’s political, religious, and traditional leaders, emphasizing the need for divine guidance during this critical period.
In his message in Abuja on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad, Dr. Abbas encourages Muslims to embrace his teachings, which emphasizes godliness, obedience to authority, and sacrifice.
He hails Prophet Muhammad as a symbol of peace and unity and reminded them to embody the Prophet’s spirit of brotherhood, compassion, and kindness.
Dr Abbas calls on Nigerians to utilize this occasion to recommit themselves to nation-building and support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He assures that the 10th National Assembly, under his leadership, is dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote peace, prosperity, and the well-being of all Nigerians.
The Speaker wishes the Muslim community a joyous and peaceful celebration.
