APC Launches Progressive Institute To Promote Democratic Values

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has established a Progressive Institute, an intellectual resource center aimed at promoting democratic values and good governance.

Speaking during the unveiling of the institute in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu, represented by Minister Abubakar Kyari, described the institute as a visionary initiative in Nigeria’s political system.

He explained that the institute seeks to transform the minds of electorates, voting choices, and leadership in Nigeria.

In his remark ,the APC National Chairman Umar Ganduje emphasized the institute’s goal of training leaders to strengthen democratic rules and bridge the gap between leaders and citizens.

On his part, the Chairman of the progressive Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma advocated ideologies that would change the narratives in which political leaders manages power.

Earlier, The Director General, Dr. Olanrewaju Adebayo, highlighted the institute’s collaboration with IPAC to ensure quality training for politicians and those seeking for power..

However, Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Dioceses,Matthew Kukar expressed concern over the country’s economic situation, despite commending the institute’s concept.

The event was attended by APC governors, ministers, National Assembly leaders, party leaders, diplomats, and academics.
