The leadership of the Organised Labour has called on the Federal Government to address urgently the recent hike in the price of Premium motor spirit to reduce the level of hardship on Nigerians.
This is contained in a statement by the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero.
Comrade Ajaero said after the agreement reached with the Federal Government to ensure that the Fuel pump price will be reduced which made them agree to the seventy thousand Naira New minimum wage, the reverse is the case.
The NLC President described the sudden increase in fuel pump price as a betrayal and called on all relevant authorities concerned to address the matter with immediate effect as this is unacceptable by workers and Nigerians at large.
