The Federal Government has approved an upward review of the fees for Nigeria passport booklets.
This is with a view to maintain the quality and integrity of the Nigeria standard passport.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kenneth Udo says based on the review, the 32 page passport booklet with five years validity previously charged at thirty five thousand naira will now be fifty thousand while the 64 page booklet with ten years validity will go for one hundred thousand as against seventy thousand.
According to the statement, the fees remain unchanged in diaspora.
It assures Nigerians of the unwavering commitment to transparency and quality of service delivery as the service regrets any inconveniences the change might have caused prospective applicants.
