Paris 2024: NBBF Releases Final D’Tigress Team List

The Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF, has released the final twelve woman list of D’Tigress for the 2024 Paris Olympic games.

Leading the 12 players list is the captain of the team Amy Okonkwo, Elizabeth Balogun of CB Bembire, MBK Ružomberok’s Nicole Enabosi, Charnay Basket Bourgogne SUD guard, Promise Amukamara, ⁠Murjanatu Musa of Celta Zorka Vigo and Tindastóll guard, Ifunaya Okoro.

Others include Pallas Kunayi of Basket Namur Capitale, ⁠Blessing Ejiofor of Celta Zorka, Ezinne Kalu of Landerneau Bretagne Basket, Olaoluwatomi Taiwo of Esgueira W, ⁠Lauren Ebo of KS Basket 25 Bydgoszcz and Adebola Adeyeye of Kentucky Wildcats.

D’Tigress, yesterday arrived in Lille, France, for there last preparatory game against Japan, ahead of the Paris Olympic games that begin Friday.

The ladies from Nigeria have been preparing and training in Germany, under the tutelage of highly-regarded Coach Rena Wakama.

They’ve also played two test games against Germany and Serbia, losing both respective matches.

On Wednesday D’Tigress would go out for another test game, this time, against the Japan female national basketball team by 8 pm, in Lille, France.
