The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his re-election as Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdulahi, Dr. Abbas praised President Tinubu’s leadership, which he said has united ECOWAS member states and navigated the region through periods of instability.
President Tinubu was re-elected during the 65th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Sunday.
The Speaker expressed delight at the unanimous re-election, seeing it as a demonstration of ECOWAS member states’ trust and confidence in President Tinubu’s vision.
Dr. Abbas wished President Tinubu a successful second term, fostering continued regional progress and cooperation.
