Sallah : Cleric Wants Muslims To Pray For Peace, Unity

Muslims have been advised to seek Allah’s grace for the country’s peace, unity, ⁰ economic prosperity.

The Chief Imam, Abaji Central Mosque, Alhaji Abu LP, made the call when he led thousands of Muslims to pray at the EID praying ground.

He also urged Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion to pray for leaders in efforts to turn around the country’s fortunes positively.

On his part, the Ona of Abaji who is also the chairman, FCT Traditional council, Doctor Adamu Baba Yunusa advised FCT residents to shun acts capable of truncating peace and unity of the country, says Eid-el-Kabir signifies sacrifice and joy advising Muslims to make the necessary sacrifices for a better tomorrow.

The traditional ruler who stressed the need for peaceful co existence among Nigerians noted that no country would attain greatness without peace and unity.
