Democracy Day : BWAC Boss Assures Residents Of Dividends Of Democracy

The Executive Chairman of Bwari Area Council, John Gabaya, has
extended his heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 25th Democracy Day.

In a statement by his chief press secretary, Agada Godwin, Gabaya emphasized the significance of this milestone, indicating the deep-rooted establishment of democratic governance in Nigeria.

“Celebrating the 25th Democracy Day in Nigeria highlights the fact that democratic governance is firmly entrenched and here to stay.”

He underscored the historical importance of this day, marking the return of power to the people and demonstrating the widespread acceptance and popularity of democracy since 1999.

Dr. Gabaya reassured the residents of Bwari Area Council of his commitment to delivering democratic dividends.

“We are dedicated to extending the benefits of democracy to the majority of our people”.

He called on all Nigerians and friends of the country to support efforts to deepen democratic values and ensure inclusive participation in governance.

Dr. Gabaya also paid tribute to the heroes and heroines of Nigeria’s democratic journey, particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the cause of June 12.
