Women Farmers In FCT Receive Farming Inputs

Women farmers across the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory have received farming inputs.

Distributing the inputs, the Director, Women Farmers Advancement Network, Mr Taiwo Olawale called on the beneficiaries to make use of the inputs towards boosting farming activities in their areas.

He said the aim of WOFAN is to assist women and youths to be self-reliant.

Some of the beneficiaries commended the efforts of WOFAN for its concern on women and youths in the FCT.

He also called on other organizations to do the same for the rapid development of the country.

The inputs distributed includes over one thousand bags of fertilizer, Rice and maize seeds and over two hundred cartons of herbisides.
