FCT 2024 Under-12 &15 Handball Championships Set For Tuesday

The 2024 edition of the Annual FCT Inter-Area Councils Under-12 and Under-15 Boys and Girls Handball Championships kicks off  Tuesday 28th May 2024 at the Old Parade Ground, Area 10, Garki, Abuja, which will host all the matches.

The FCT Handball Association’s Organizing Secretary, Mrs. Holder Nkwocha, confirms all participating teams arrive in Garki today, Monday, for rigorous screening. Following the screening, coaches will attend a technical meeting to determine the competition draw.

2024 FCT School Sports: Festivities Comes To An End

Disappointed by the lack of a sponsor for yet another season, Mrs. Nkwocha confirmed that players from each team will be camped at the Old Parade Ground, Garki. However, the responsibility for providing for the players will fall on the Area Councils they represent.

The four-day championships ends on Thursday, May 30th will see Professor Bola Adeyanju, President of the National Association for Physical, Health Education, Sports, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), grace the closing ceremony.
